On Day 2, participants will explore the importance of safety and digital citizenship when using digital sharing. Participants will view two videos about digital citizenship and create a Padlet that demonstrates three ideas about digital citizenship.
Objectives:
Identify the benefits of digital sharing
Identify the safety issues associated with digital sharing
Identify what digital citizenship is
Create a Padlet that demonstrate three ideas about digital citizenship.
Activities:
1. Warm-up Activity: Share your homework from Day 1. You were to make a digital presentation about the benefits of digital sharing. Was this acitivity difficult or easy? What was difficult about it?
2. The lesson for Day 2 will be framed by introducing the course and identifying the objectives for the day.
3. What do you think you know about digital safety? Add one or two items to the KWL chart under K for "What do you think you know about digital safety?" and also add one or two items under W for "What do you want to learn about digital safety?"
Add your name or change the color to the items you added.

Make a simple Padlet for homework that you could use as a sample for a student project. For example: a first grade teacher could make a sample Padlet identifying the different parts of a plant. This could be used in your classroom as a sample when students are learning to use Padlet.
